Christopher Sacco, a resident of Westbury and a 1998 graduate of W.T. Clarke High School, is a member of the 2001 Eastern Connecticut State University men's lacrosse team, the Warriors. A junior, he has earned two letters in the program.

The Warriors opened their sixth intercollegiate season March 10 with a Little East Conference match at Keene State College. Ranked 19th nationally in the pre-season, Eastern returns 21 letterwinners from a team which won a program-record 15 matches last year and qualified for the ECAC New England Division III Tournament for the second straight year. In five years under head coach Rick McCarthy, Eastern has won 63 and lost 14 (81.8 percent) and won four Pilgrim League Northwest Division regular-season and three Pilgrim League playoff titles. The Little East Conference will be sponsoring men's lacrosse for the first season this spring.
