The two children's programs offer premier martial arts environments for children starting at age four. The focus of the Karatatot(r) and Young Children's program is increased listening skills, stranger awareness, hand-eye, foot-eye, coordination, and an extraordinary feeling of self-confidence.
"It is our belief that everyone that participates in a competition is a winner. When a person enters a tournament they are 'on a quest to do their best.' This is a character builder and a challenge that is only taken on by the leaders of today and tomorrow," stated a spokesperson for the karate school.
"The students and their parents all had a rewarding experience." Students from all over Long Island participated in the tournament.
