Children attending the Young Children's Program at Charles Water's Karate & Fitness, located in Williston Park, received belt promotions this month. The young children's program is one of four beginner classes at the school. Charles Water's program instills the values that we all want for our children. These students learn age appropriate self defense, hand, eye and foot coordination as well as the ability to focus and listen. These are all lifelong lasting qualities that build the foundation for success. These children are given the tools to be on a quest to be their best.

"Our goal at Hwang Karate is to facilitate mental growth enabling our students to reach their highest potential as human beings," said Mr. Water, owner and director of the school. "Our studio teaches students how to defend themselves responsibly while instilling self-confidence, self-discipline and respect for others."

Charles Water's Karate & Fitness is a full-time professional martial arts school, with classes for children, adults and teenagers. The school is the only one on Long Island that also offers Karatatot, the program specifically designed for children starting at four years of age. The following students have received promotions this month in the Young Children's program.
