The Girl Scouts of Nassau County would like to thank the local chapters for participating in the Family Giving Campaign. The organization thanks the Carle Place/Westbury Association, which includes the towns of Carle Place, New Cassel and Westbury Village, the East Meadow Association, which includes the towns of East Meadow and Salisbury, the Bay Association, which includes the towns of Old Brookville and Upper Brookville, and the WARM Association, which includes Old Westbury.
The Family Giving Campaign is a voluntary gift-giving program at the Girl Scouts. Sometimes, when a girl joins the Girl Scouts of Nassau County, the family makes a contribution through this Family Giving Campaign. This year's donations given by Girl Scouting families surpassed every other year!
Girl Scouts of Nassau County is the world's largest volunteer organization for girls and young women ages five through 18. Girl Scouts of Nassau County serves more than 20,000 girls with the support of 5,000 adults. The mission of the Girl Scouts of Nassau County is to offer all girls in Nassau County an opportunity to realize their full potential. It seeks to enable them to understand and become better prepared for the realities of their lives in a changing world through activities that are consistent with the Girl Scout philosophy.
