Westbury Sweeps Reid/Robeson Classic
Westbury guard Rich Hall sank a long three-point field goal with 14.1 second left to play to propel the Westbury Green Dragons boys basketball team to a thrilling 65-63 victory over the Canarsie Chiefs in the nightcap of a triple-header of exhibition charity games in the eighth annual Reid/Robeson Basketball Classic held at Westbury High School. The Lady Green Dragons squad won the opener of the tournament over the Lady Tigers of Hempstead. The middle contest pitted the Kellenberg High School Firebirds against the Malverne Mules.
