Boxer Tommy Rainone of Westbury recently joined with Nassau District Attorney Denis Dillon and other organizers, supporters and participants in Dillon's Rising Star program, during a recent awards luncheon at Oheka Castle in Cold Spring Hills. Rising Star is a multi-faceted community program developed by Dillon that utilizes sports, after school remedial intervention, mentoring and outreach to community leaders to teach virtues to young people living in areas beset by high crime.
