Florence Amanda Sitkowski (nee Landwehr), 79, resident of Methodist Country House, Wilmington, DE, passed away on Nov. 9, 2000 at St. Francis Hopsital in Wilmington. Florence was a member of Westbury United Methodist Church for the past 35 years. She was a lifetime member of the Women's Auxiliary American Legion Post #1718 Carle Place and friend of Pencader Presbyterian Church in Delaware. She was a former Girl Scout leader and a past member of the Women's Society at the United Methodist Church in Westbury and the PTA in Carle Place. She enjoyed embroidering and baking but she cherished the time she spent with her family and grandchildren the most.

Florence was the wife of 50 years of the late Anthony S. She is survived by her daughters, Lynn A. Dickey (James S.) of Bear, DE, Ruth H. Sitkowski of Hempstead and Crystal F. Barriscale (Christopher R.) of Mill Valley, CA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jason Anthony and Justin James Dickey and Lauren and Amanda Brooke Barriscale.
