Village Receives Road Resurfacing Funds
As part of a continuing effort to keep the Village of Westbury roadways in their best condition, Mayor Strada and the board of trustees recently reached out to New York State Senator Michael A.L. Balboni for additional financial assistance. The senator responded by securing $250,000 from the New York State Department of Transportation's Multi-Modal Program.

Westbury Little League Gets New Scoreboard
With the help of Cablevision Systems Corporation, the Village of Westbury recently provided the Westbury Amateur Baseball Association (WABA), home to the Westbury Little League, with a new electronic scoreboard. Donated by Cablevision, this massive scoreboard, weighing in at more than 500 pounds, stands majestically behind the fence in right-center field at the little league park. It will be tested for the remainder of the fall season and ready for use on the next opening day.
