Richard Paul Weigang, 82, formerly of Carle Place, died on May 5, 2000. A veteran of WWII, he was a retired colonel in teh US Army Reserve. He graduated from Fordham University and received a master's degree from NYU. Mr. Weigang was a retired deputy superintendent of the Hicksville Schools. Husband of Darline Kingman Weigang. He was predeceased by his wife Rosemary (nee Coughlan) and his sister Dorothy Blythe. Father of Richard J., Grace, Timothy and Michelle. Grandfather of eight. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Hope RC Church. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Frank S. Abbadessa, of Westbury, died on May 22, 2000. Husband of Gen. Father of Joseph, Dianne Collins, Frank and Paul.
