The Senior Citizens of Westbury Center honored volunteers at a special Volunteer Recognition Luncheon held April 14. "Volunteers work in every aspect of Center life, and we attribute the success of the Westbury Senior Center to these wonderful people who give from the heart," said Executive Director Yetta Waldman.

Westbury High School Future Business Leaders of America helped to make the luncheon enjoyable for all by blowing up balloons, setting tables, serving the meal and entertaining.

The Volunteer Recognition Luncheon was made possible in part by a grant from GreenPoint Bank, the Nassau County Department of Senior Citizen Affairs, NY State Office for the Aging, and the US Administration on Aging.
