The Westbury Amateur Baseball Association will hold its annual parade up Post Avenue April 8, at 10 a.m. Featured in the parade will be marchers from the Bethpage Restoration Village dressed in colorful baseball uniforms of the past, members of the Eisenhower Park Mounted Police Unit, Nassau County Chief Executive Thomas Gulotta, Town of North Hempstead Supervisor May Newburger, Assemblywoman Donna Ferrara, Westbury Mayor Ernest Strada, Legislators Roger Corbin and Dennis Dunne, Westbury Village Trustee John Meegan, and other dignitaries.

Also marching for the first time in a number of years will be three girls' softball teams. Thanks to renewed interest in the sport and the recruiting efforts of the coaches, girls' softball is once again part of the WABA schedule.

To join WABA coaching staff, or to receive information on sponsoring opportunities, call 333-5358.
