John "Jack" Ahern, of Carle Place, died on Dec. 19, 1999. He was a longtime member of Carpenter's Local 608, the County Cork Association and the Knights of Columbus. Husband of Margaret L. (nee Henry). Father of John (Susan), Liam (Nuala), Christine Rizzo (Frank) and Karen Turton (Darren). Grandfather of 13. Brother of Eileen Kruczinicki, Noreen O'Mahoney and Mary Dawson. Freund, of Westbury, died on Dec. 22, 1999. He managed the North Levittown Bowling Lanes for 50 years. Husband of Florence. Father of Carol, James and Richard. Father-in-law of Phyllis and Pattie.
