The Yankees are champs once again, Tiger Woods has won three back to back golf tournaments, and the elections are over, except for the tears of the losers. The only thing that seems to go on forever is the posters of the candidates that flood our streets.
I would like to suggest that a law be made whereby the winners must within a week after the election take down all posters, and clean up all debris left behind by people passing out literature on the day of the election.
Actually, I think it would be a good idea to stop this method of electioneering. If you are that close to the polls and don't know who you are voting for, you are headed the wrong way. Speaking about the people at the Park Avenue School, they were stopping all cars no matter which direction they were going. A person visiting my house on business made a comment about how aggressive they were.
Candidates should choose more carefully their electioneering methods.
