Baldwin has had one life-long goal, Edgar remembers. "Ever since I was a little girl I remember my mother saying she would like to live to see the year 2000. She wanted to see three centuries," Edgar explained, "but she didn't want to do it without retaining all her faculties."

Westbury High School's classes of '47, '48 and '49 celebrated a joint reunion at Verdis of Westbury Sept. 25. To the 150 graduates who attended, some traveling from as far away as California and the state of Washington, it was a great opportunity to meet old friends and catch up on old times.
