Appel spoke of his life experiences and how he was helped by the Epilepsy Foundation of Long Island (Garden City). This was Esselte's first campaign and between the employees' contribution and the corporate match, a total of $6,126 was raised to benefit Long Island's community through Long Island's United Way.
