    The Nassau County Republican Committee is apparently leaning heavily toward Charles Fuschillo, the chief operating officer of the Educational Assistance Corporation, to succeed late State Senator Norman Levy, who died earlier this month.

  • SPORTS: Frogs Earn Medals in Wrestling Tournament

    Three Carle Place High School wrestlers earned medals at the recent North Shore Novice Tournament held at Herricks Community Center. Both head coach Doug Dyer and his assistant coach, Mike Nicoll, were proud of the development and achievement of these young wrestlers. There were approximately 18 schools represented at this novice tournament.
