    Ramadhan, the month-long Islamic observance marked by fasting and reflection, began on Wednesday, December 31 and will conclude with the Eid-Ul-Fitr celebration, to be observed locally on Jan. 29 at the Huntington Town House in Huntington.

  • NEWS: Carle Place HS Academic Hall of Fame

    For many of the families in the Joseph C. Burke Auditorium on the evening of Nov. 29, there were three generations sitting together.

  • NEWS: Carle Place Students Make All County

    Ann-Marie Ginsberg, supervisor of Fine and Performing Arts, received notice from the Nassau Music Educators Association announcing that 22 Carle Place students were selected to perform in the All-County Music Festival which is to be held at Tilles Center C.W. Post College from Friday, Jan. 9, through Sunday, Jan. 11. Students are selected based on a variety of factors, including the results from the spring NYSSMA Solo Festival, by an NMEA committee.
