An Evening With the Stars: Doo-Wop Fundraiser to help support the games for the physically challenged will be held on Friday, Dec. 7 at 8 p.m. at Bethpage High School. Featuring Winnie Winfield, Lenny Dell and the Dimensions, Continentals, Cathy Jean, The Fireflies, The Jarmels, and Classic Sounds. Tickets are $25 each, reserved seating only. Free parking. Tuesday Tours At Westbury Friends School

Tuesday Tours every Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., at Westbury Friends School. Take a brief tour of the campus, learn about the toddler through grade 5 school, collect an information packet, and then be on your way to work. St. Brigid’s Attic Thrift Shop

The Attic Thrift Shop (178 Post Ave., Westbury), which helps to support St. Brigid’s Outreach Program, is seeking donations of gently used clothing, shoes and accessories for men, women and children. Donations of household items including bedding, cookware, dishes, flatware, lamps, pictures, decorative household items and bric-a-brac also accepted. Only small furniture items can be accepted. Call if you have a question about a donation you would like to make. The thrift shop can always use additional volunteers. If interested in volunteering on Fridays call Sheila Leonard 333-5969.

Furniture Needed

The A.T. Stewart Exchange Consignment Shop, 109 Eleventh St., Garden City, is looking for furniture to add to its inventory. The shop can use cocktail tables, end tables, consoles, chairs of all types, dressers, dining room tables, breakfronts, servers, secretaries, mirrors, etc....it’s all in demand. If you have a particularly large piece, take a picture, and show it to Kris or Jill at the shop 516-746-8900. Consignees get 50 percent of the selling price. Parking is convenient because the shop is located on the lower level of the Garden City Historical Museum.
