Christmas Fair

At the Hillside United Methodist Church, 2801 Hillside Ave., New Hyde Park (between Marcus Ave. and Herricks Rd.), from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Featuring handmade items by the members of the church including afghans, Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations and cakes. The Nutcracker

Will be performed at Sacred Heart Academy, 47 Cathedral Ave., Hempstead, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. For information call 483-7383. Also on Nov 22 at 2 p.m.

Multi-Family Garage Sale

A large multi-family garage sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both Saturday, Nov. 21 and Sunday, Nov. 22 at 147 Whitney St., Westbury (one block east of Carle Place High School).

Sewanhaka Central H.S. District Board of Ed

Regular meeting at Sewanhaka High School, 500 Tulip Ave., Floral Park, at 7:30 p.m. It is anticipated that a motion to adjourn to Executive Session will be made immediately after the opening of the public portion of the meeting to discuss matters involving particular personnel and matters within the attorney-client relationship.
