Did you ever think your wardrobe could support a cause? Well, the faculty and staff at H. Frank Carey found out that it could. On Tuesday, Dec. 23, faculty and staff were asked to donate $5 in support of Relay for Life, a national American Cancer Society fundraiser that is scheduled for May 29 and 30, 2009 at H. Frank Carey High School, and, in turn, they could wear jeans to school that day. This was a huge success as over $600 was raised. In fact, the entire Franklin Square community is encouraged to come out and support Relay for Life at the kick-off meeting on January 13, 2009 at 7 p.m. in the H. Frank Carey Dining Hall South.
