It's nice to hear that good ol' Tom Suozzi will possibly be seeking a third term as county executive, seeing that his political aspirations are falling through the cracks with Hillary Clinton's recent decline in the polls. Well thank you ol' gracious Tom for keeping the people of Nassau County in mind. Are we as Nassau County residents missing something with Tom's ability to come and go as he pleases when dealing with Nassau County? Not to mention Tom's nice new office space in the recently renovated courthouse. Sure, why wouldn't he want to seek another term? Then, of course, there is the nice fat increase in salary from $109,000 to $175,000. Oh, and by the way, what if Hillary Clinton makes a comeback in the race for the White House, does Tom Suozzi withdraw his bid and focus again on his political agenda? Don't be fooled by this man. As Nassau County residents, we must smarten up and pay more attention to all the possible candidates who will look out for Nassau County in the coming years and not someone who has and always will be looking out for himself.
