Congregation Beth Israel of Hempstead sadly announces the passing of its most wonderful esteemed Rabbi Harvey Weil. He was honored at his funeral by many, many friends, relatives, colleagues, and the mayor of Hempstead. He will be missed as a great 'mensch' besides a great teacher and rabbi. Mrs. Renee Weil requested any donations in his memory be sent to Congregation Beth Israel.
