The West Hempstead Civic Association will once again be sponsoring Holiday at Hall's Pond Park on Sunday, Dec. 3 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the park, located on Nassau Boulevard in West Hempstead.

The festivities will include children's games, music, carolers and a train ride. Santa arrives at 3 p.m. with the lighting ceremonies to begin at 4:30 p.m.

The Franklin Square Jewish Center will be having a Chanukah Menorah Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 16 with a Mincha Service at 4:15 p.m. and a Maariv Service at 5:05 p.m.

The lighting ceremony will start at 5:20 p.m. with the singing of Chanukah songs and traditional holiday food. All are welcome.

The Franklin Square Jewish Center is located one block north of Hempstead Turnpike and one block west of the New Hyde Park-Franklin Avenue intersection.
