Residents went to the polls on Tuesday and re-elected Nassau County Executive Tom Suozzi, who touted the county's big fiscal turnaround during his four years in office. Nassau County District Attorney Denis Dillon and Nassau County Commissioner of Consumer Affairs Roger Bogsted announced the filing of criminal and administrative charges against three gas stations. The stations are charged for cheating consumers in two different ways: 1) overcharging for the gas provided, and 2) octane fraud for selling gas at premium prices but providing a lesser grade gas at that price.
