Over 50 Elmont Memorial High School students took the steps of the State Capitol as part of Assemblyman Tom Alfano's signature "Mentors and Leaders Program." The bi-partisan program, started by Alfano over six years ago, has hosted young people in the 21st Assembly District in his program which promotes public service and education.
