Carey High School Icehawks hockey tryouts will be held at Iceland Ice Rink on Hillside Avenue in New Hyde Park on:

Wednesday, Aug. 18 from 7-8:30 p.m.

Monday, Aug. 30 from 6-7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 1 from 6-7:30 p.m.

* Tryouts are open to all H. Frank Carey students

* Private school students districted for Carey whose private school does not field an ice hockey team

* Any 6th graders attending John, Polk or Washington Street elementary schools

* Any West Hempstead School District students in grades 6 through 11 only for either the middle school or JV team

* Private school students districted for West Hempstead, grade 6-11 only, whose school does not field an ice hockey team for the middle school or TV teams.

The cost for the tryouts is $75 for all three sessions payable the first session. Please make checks payable to "Icehawks Hockey."
