Hempstead Town Councilman Edward A. Ambrosino will bring government closer to the people when he hosts a West Hempstead Town Meeting on Thursday, August 26, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Echo Park Community Room, located at 399 Nassau Boulevard in West Hempstead.

In announcing the Town Meeting, Councilman Ambrosino declared, "An open line of communication between government and the citizens it serves is the very foundation of our democratic form of government. I look forward to a large turnout of West Hempstead residents at this town meeting. Public input helps me give my constituents the best representation possible and helps to build an even better West Hempstead community."

"Representatives from Town of Hempstead departments will be on hand at the meeting to help address and rectify any problems or concerns that West Hempstead residents may have," Councilman Ambrosino concluded.
