The West Hempstead School District got as close as you can to passing a budget without actually passing one so the district will try again. Residents will vote on the proposed 2004-2005 school year budget again on Thursday, June 17 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the West Hempstead Middle School gymnasium.
