The Ron Lane Memorial Relay Meet was held at H. Frank Carey High School. The meet, which brings 40 teams from around Long Island to compete, is held each year in memory of the late coach.

The Carey High School track team performed admirably. The boys 4X100 team nearly broke the school record it set last year and the girls distance relay team finished fourth, earning a medal.
