A second floor apartment on Lucille Avenue in Elmont was burglarized as three victims were tied up and two subjects made off with cash and jewelry, according to Nassau County Police.
Detectives report that on Oct. 27 at 6:30 p.m., two male subjects entered a second floor apartment on Lucille Avenue. The subjects tied up a 25-year-old victim and a 56-year old victim who were present in the apartment, with electrical cord and nylon tape, police said.
According to police, the 25-year-old victim's 19-year-old girlfriend arrived while the burglary was in progress. The subjects then tied her up with electrical cord and nylon tape, said police. The subjects fled the scene with cash and jewelry. The total loss was listed as $13,800.
Police said the victims were able to untie themselves and call 911 shortly after the subjects fled. There were no injuries reported.
One subject is described as a Dominican male with medium light skin, approximately 21-23 years old, 6'1'' tall, stocky build, shaved head and armed with a handgun. The second subject is described as a Dominican male with medium light skin, approximately 18-19 years old, 5'10'' tall, thin build, black curly hair and wearing a blue baseball hat.
