Thomas J. Doyle Sr., of West Hempstead, died on Oct. 12, 2003. US Navy Ret. USS Seaowl, he was retired from the NYPD, 79th Precinct/107th Precinct. Husband of Joan (nee Dempsey). Father and father-in-law of Patricia and Glenn Hauswirth, Carolyn and John Hawat, Thomas Jr. and Barbara Doyle. Grandfather of Nicole, Jessica, Matthew, Brian, Kaitlin, Thomas III, Marissa, Patrick and Shannon. Brother of John Doyle and the late Roseann Cassidy. Arrangements were made by the Krauss Funeral Home, Franklin Square. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church.
