James Sheridan and Frankie Rivera drew walks and a home run over the fence by Nick Kisarewski gave an early lead for Joey Truncale who pitched five complete innings getting ten strikeouts.
John Van Haaren and Donny Cicio both had a double and a single, two singles by Joey Truncale, another hit by Nick Kisarewski that gave Primavera a good lead after four complete innings. The score was 10-5, but then Marco's battled back and tied the game in the top of the fifth inning. Then timely hitting in the bottom of the fifth by Danny Cicio, James Sheridan and a game winning single by Frankie Rivera won the game by a score of 11-10. This was one of the best wins ever for Manager Rich Truncale. Congratulations to both teams!

After two scoreless innings Primavera Pizza's James Sheridan drew a walk and stole three bases and scored the first run. James Sheridan also pitched five innings getting six strikeouts and giving up one run with great defensive catches by Kevin Hiralal and Jack Ziems in the outfield and solid defense by John Van Haaren, Joey Truncale, Danny Cicio and Frankie Rivera behind the plate.
In the fifth inning Primavera Pizza broke out and scored five runs by Nick Kisarewski and Peter Mantone each getting singles, then Matt Ragona, Kevin Hiralal drew walks. Back to back doubles by James Sheridan and John Van Haaren and back-to-back singles by Joey Truncale and Juke Staines, which helped, gave Kames Steridan a win with solid pitching relief by Nick Kisarewski who struck out the side in the sixth inning.

This was a pitching duel from the start. There was no score until the 3rd inning when the Aces scored one in the top of the inning and the Patriots came back with 4 runs. The inning started with John Perra and Christopher Rainey walking and a big triple by Michael Zunno, to score them both in. Cody and Kyle McPartland brought in Michael Zunno and Renee Amell to score two more runs in the inning. It continued in the 5th with a double by Michael Zunno and a double by Thomas Anderson, producing two more runs. Great game by both teams. The Patriots won 6-1.
