I am writing this letter to convey my heartfelt appreciation to Tom Bennet and the Veterans of Elmont for the honor of being named the Grand Marshal of the 2003 Elmont Memorial Day Parade.

As a longtime resident of Elmont, a parent, a parishioner, and as special assistant for community affairs in the Elmont School District, living and working in this community has always brought me great joy and a sense of family. I will always remember this honor and hold it dear to my heart. Thank you so very much.
