    On Tuesday, June 3, residents of West Hempstead will be voting on a $9.975 million proposal to build a new library in West Hempstead. A bond was put before voters in 2001 to build a new library on the corner of Hempstead Avenue and Woodfield Road. However, that proposal was defeated since residents were concerned over the location.     In the first game of the year, Raymond Tool pitched a complete game and struck out ten batters. T.J. Burke threw out two base runners trying to steal. Gregory Levine contributed two key hits knocking in several runs. Devin Mejia also hit a home run. A well-played game by all the players as the team got its first win of the season. FULL STORY
