Thaddeus Joseph Wioch, formerly of Elmont, died on April 6, 2003. He was born on March 21, 1915 in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. He was a corporal in the US Army serving in the Philippines during WWII. He earned a Silver Star for gallantry in action. He worked for the Pepsi Cola Company. Husband of Jane (Szachewicz). Father of Christina. Brother of Irene and Henrietta. Mass of Christian Burial at St Boniface RC Church. Interment St. Charles Cemetery. Beverly A. Artale, of Elmont, died on April 14, 2003. She was a retired school teacher. Wife of John. Mother of Charlene Dreher and Pia Artale. Sister of Audrey Piccapietra, Spencer Siefert and the late Lois Steever. Grandmother of Katie, John and Daniel.
