Come at 2 p.m. for a performance by STAR (Senior Theater Acting Repertory). *To the Radio City Christmas Show on Nov. 27. The show is at 2 p.m. and there will be time to browse afterward. The bus leaves Elmont at 10 a.m. and leaves NYC at 5 p.m. The price is $84. Registration required.

*To the Brandywine River Museum on Dec. 19. After lunch at the museum, we head to Odessa, DE and tour holiday decorated homes and then have a sumptuous dessert. The bus leaves the library at 7 a.m. and leaves Delaware at 4 p.m. The price is $63. Registration in progress for Elmont S.D. residents; Nov. 2 nonresident.

Get into the spirit of winter. Two Snowmen crafts programs will be offered on Dec. 3. Children ages 3 to 5, with an adult, will make a Pouchy Snowman at 1 p.m. and children in grades K to 4 will make a Snow Family Wall Hanging at 4 p.m. Registration for both programs begins Nov. 19 for ESD residents; Nov. 26 non-ESD residents. Will meet at the library at 1 p.m. on the first Monday of every month. There will be a guest speaker at every meeting. For further details call 775-9046. All participants must arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the program to insure a seat. People on the waiting list will be admitted to the program at 5 minutes prior to the program. Latecomers will not be admitted. Free English classes are being offered in cooperation with Nassau BOCES. Classes meet Monday, Tuesday and Thursday each week from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. through June. English for New Americans is for beginning adults who have not attended school in the US. Registration is ongoing. New students welcome at any time. Come for this program led by Beatrice Nechin of the NC Dept. of Senior Citizen Affairs. This program is for grandparents involved in their grandchildren's lives or not involved in their grandchildren's lives, grandparents raising their grandchildren or seeking the rights to have their grandchildren in their lives. Coffee and cookies served. The program is ongoing and held on the last Friday of each month at 10:30 a.m.

*Nutrition Education Class taught by Shari Hamburg, RD. 10 a.m. The class will be ongoing and held the second Thursday of each month. Coordinated by Beatrice Nechin.

*Senior Yoga Class coordinated by Beatrice Nechin, the class will be led by Evelyn Connell from 10 to 11 a.m. on the third Friday of each month. Coffee and cookies will be served. For registration call the NC Dept. of Senior Citizen Affairs 571-8250.

Under the direction of Denise T. Brosokas meets on the third Tuesday of every month to share ideas and offer support and guidance. Join the group at 7:30 p.m. and share your writing.
