Loretta Christiansen, 89, of West Hempstead, died on Sept. 4, 2002. Wife of the late Edwin. Mother of Gerard, Donald (Patricia), Grace Gazzo (William) and Clare Bunce. Grandmother of Lisa, Michael, Jody Christiansen, Nicole, Peter Christiansen, Timothy, Christopher, Erin Gazzo, Ellen and Garrett Bunce. Arrangements were made by the Barnes-Sorrentino Funeral Home, West Hempstead. Mass at St. Thomas RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Helen C. Marziotto, of Elmont, died on Oct. 5, 2002. She was a member of the Elmont Civic Association and served as president for 10 years. She was treasurer of the Herald Bowling League and was a member of many other Elmont community associations. Daughter of the late Andrew and Cecilia Esposito. Wife of Joseph. Mother of Gina, Linda, Joy Sabina, Kim Gamble and Joseph Jr. Sister of Andrew and Jeanne Ploeger and the late Joseph Esposito. Arrangements were made by the Elmont Funeral Home. Mass at St. Vincent RC de Paul RC Church. Interment St. Charles Cemetery.
