Daniel F. Sullivan, 71, of West Hempstead, died on Aug. 26, 2002. A US Marine in the Korean War, he was commander of American Legion Cathedral Post #1087 and a former employee of Sperry-Gyroscope and Doubleday Publishers. Son of the late Neil and Marguerite Sullivan. Brother of Sister Mary DeMontfort and the late Marguerite and three brothers, Neil, Thomas and Michael. Brother-in-law of Jacqueline, Teresa and Kathleen. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Barnes-Sorrentino Funeral Home, West Hempstead. Mass at St. Thomas RC Church. Interment Calverton National Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Ursuline Sisters, PO Box 86, Blue Point, NY 11715. Lucille E. Martin (nee Des Rochers), formerly of Elmont, died recently. Wife of the late Thomas F. Mother of Nancy Petrasko and Jill Carlson. Grandmother of Joanna Petrasko, Thomas and James Carlson. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's RC Church. Interment Garrison Cemetery, Garrison Forest, MD. Contributions can be made, in Lucille Martin's name, to the Stella Maris Hospice Care Unit, 2300 Dulaney Valley Rd., Timonium, MD 21093. Dorothy M. Brady, of Franklin Square, died on Aug. 27, 2002. Wife of the late Marshall. Mother of the late Michael. Sister of Jack Schwindt.
