This year again, Elmont resident Jeff Maimone swam in the Annual Swim-A-Cross of the Nassau County Chapter of the Red Cross on Friday, Aug. 16, at Centre Island Beach in Bayville. He and his mother Renata Maimone of Bayville practice before the event at Stehli Beach on Long Island Sound. At 85, Mrs. Maimone still enjoys the sport. FULL STORY
