Throughout the year, The Town of Hempstead provides its residents with opportunities to enjoy many different types of entertainment, free of charge. Each summer an exciting lineup of musical talent performs at the town's neighborhood parks, hosted by the Town of Hempstead Department of Parks and Recreation.

Listed below is the schedule of exciting outdoor concerts taking place this summer. The shows begin at 8 p.m. I invite you to bring your blankets and lawn chairs to guarantee comfortable seating.

Friday, July 26 Tony Ventiera and Time Was harmonize to the oldies at Shell Creek Park, Barnum Island

Monday, July 29 Plaza Productions presents the hit musical Fiddler on The Roof at Echo Park, West Hempstead

Tuesday, July 30 Lee Cloud and the Original Northernaires of Long Island sing gospel favorites at Hendrickson Avenue Park, Elmont

Wednesday, July 31 Crystal Rose presents a delightful night of folk music at Seamans Neck Park, Seaford

Thursday, August 1 New York's number one girl group, The Chiclettes, sing at Averill Blvd Park, Elmont

Friday, August 2 Join The Ernest Clay Mississippi Blues Band as they sing original "Delta" style blues at Harold Walker Park, Lakeview

Monday, August 5 The Central Park Stompers along with vocalist Toby Williams return with a rousing night of swing and dance at Oceanside Park, Oceanside

Tuesday, August 6 Roadhouse rides into town with a country music revue at Speno Park, East Meadow

Wednesday, August 7 The Lew Picardi Orchestra presents a night of big band sounds at Newbridge Road Park, Bellmore

Thursday, August 8 The Phil Costa and His Something Special Band liven up the night at Hewlett Point Park, Bay Park

Friday, August 9 Join John Goroly and Down & Dirty as they jump, jive 'n' swing at Levittown Veterans Memorial Park, Levittown

Monday, August 12 Napolean Revels Bay and the Rhythm King present selections of Caribbean pop and jazz at Dutch Broadway Park, Elmont

Tuesday, August 13 Jimmy Cruiz and the Spirit Ensemble use African instruments and costumes to present a pulsating musical treat at Uniondale Ave. Park, Uniondale

Wednesday, August 14 Paddy Noonan and his band present a night of Irish splendor at Seamans Neck Park, Seaford

Thursday, August 15 Remember the good times with the Devotions at Baldwin Park, Baldwin Harbor
