Louise A. Tuccinardi, 89, of Oyster Bay, formerly of Franklin Square, died on March 4, 2002. Wife of the late Benedict. Mother of Carol Elia (Frank), Janet Kerner (James) and the late Louise Mundinger (Robert). Grandmother of 10. Great-grandmother of 17. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Dominic's RC Chapel. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. Donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 149 Madison Ave., New York, NY 10016.

George Jervas died on March 7, 2002. He was born in Montreal on Feb. 25, 1912. He moved to Brooklyn in 1925 and was a graduate of PS 77 and Manual Training High School. He studied journalism at NYU and graduated from the Clarence White School of Photograhy. During his career he was a photographer for several NY photo studios and was chief photographer for Pan American Airways at LaGuardia Airport for eight years. In 1952 he opened his own photographic studio on Fifth Ave. His clients varied from American Airlines to Ziff-Davis including many prominent corporate executives and politicians.

He was the official photographer and served on the board of the Advertising Club of NY as well as the Society of the Filurians. He was a charter member and official photographer of the Public Relations Professionals of LI. He was also a member of the Canadian Society of NY, South Shore Camera Club, Masonic Lodge Reliance No. 776, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, LI Early Fliers Club and the Wings Club. He flew his own single engine plane and logged over 2200 hours flight time and was Instrument Rated.

He was a life Boy Scout and was Scoutmaster of Troop 288 for 30 years.

He married Gertrude Werneke in 1935. In 1948 they moved to Elmont. They had four children, George W. Jervas of Pittsfield, MA, Helen-Marie and Michael Signorelli of Massapequa, Robert C. and Carol Jervas of Franklin Square and Dorothy and Albert Wolff of Rockville Centre. They had 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
