Frosty the Snowman and Santa Claus celebrate the holiday season at Holiday Lights at Belmont Park. With over 2 million lights and more than 100 displays the two-and-one-half mile drive-thru tour of Belmont Park Racetrack is the largest of its kind in the area. Opening at 5 p.m. daily the Holiday Lights at Belmont Park and Christmas Village will be open until Dec. 31. Charitable partners for Holiday Lights at Belmont include 1-in-9 Long Island's Breast Cancer Action Coalition, Marty Lyons Foundation, Girl Scouts of Nassau, Gateway Youth Outreach and Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Holiday Lights is also an official drop off point for new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots and canned foods for Island Harvest.
