On Tuesday, Dec. 4, the Town of Hempstead will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. at Hempstead Town Hall, 1 Washington Street in Hempstead, to consider the adoption of setting aside a certain parking space for motor vehicles for the sole use of holders of special parking permits issued by the County of Nassau to physically handicapped persons. Among the locations is Hunnewell Avenue, Kirkman Avenue and School Road in Elmont.
