A WWII veteran, he was a member of the Boy Scouts, former scoutmaster, Little League, American Legion and a member of St. Vincent de Paul RC Church, booster captain, usher, Holy Name Society, Parish Council and Feast Committee. Husband of Mary. Father and father-in-law of Deborah, Stanley Jr., Susan, Michael, Kathy and Dominick. Grandfather of Susan, Dominick, Michael, Cassandra, Jennifer, Stan III and Holly.
