We, an Elmont Senior Center Group, wish to express our sincerest condolences to all families who lost loved ones in the Sept. 11 outrage. At such times of great disaster we need, as human beings, to draw close and give as much comfort to each other as possible.

If you know of a family in your neighborhood who has suffered a loss in this horror, perhaps you might want to offer them some comfort - a home-cooked meal taken to their house or shared at your house - or invite their children to an outing at a favorite place or a movie or a play.
