As the summer heats up, many parents begin looking for new things to do with their children and the Town of Hempstead's Children's Summer Festival is a perfect solution to this dilemma. The summer festival is a great chance for children to enjoy some entertaining shows at their local parks. No tickets are required for these free shows, which are a treat for parents and children alike.

Our next summer show is Dimitri the Astronaut, presented by Robert Roger's Puppets. This is a performance that the children are sure to enjoy. Dimitri the Astronaut will be running at the following times and locations.

Our last show of the summer season is the Children's Showrama-Sister Act. Audience participation is encouraged at this musical journey which salutes female vocalists of the past century. The shows will run from July 30-Aug. 3.

Sister Act will be performing at the following time and locations.
