The Ronald McDonald House of Long Island is looking for students to participate in their annual "Business Cares for Kids Sports Festival" 1.5 mile Walk-a-Thon. This is a wonderful way to get children involved in community service, while having a great time. Raffles, prizes, refreshments and entertainment will be provided.

The walk will be around Cantiague Park in Hicksville on Saturday, June 16, at 10:30 a.m. To request an easy-to-use sponsor form, call Silvana Ferlita Gullo at 718-343-5683.

The Ronald McDonald House of Long Island is a not-for-profit home away from home for families of children undergoing serious medical treatment in local hospitals. Serving Nassau and Suffolk counties, the House gives comfort and support during the families' most difficult time, and the ability to be just minutes from their child.
