On behalf of the Elmont Board of Education, I would like to thank all the adults, the elementary and high school students and their siblings who marched in the Memorial Day parade.

This parade was the largest ever and you made it happen.

Our thanks to those who lined the streets with children and pets as you cheered us on.

Working together, parents, students and staff helped make this parade a special salute to our veterans.
