Ida Ryerson Dicke, of West Hempstead, died on April 24, 2001. She was a member of the Girls' Hempstead High School National Basketball Team of 1926. She graduated from Skidmore College and received her master's degree at Columbia University. She taught health and physical education from 1932 to 1945. She was a member of the Winthrop University Hospital Auxiliary, the Hempstead Historical Society, Christ Presbyterian Church of Hempstead and she was active in the Girl Scouts. Wife of Robert. Mother of triplets, Robert Jr., John and Peter. Grandmother of eight. Ernest Muscarella, of Franklin Square, died on April 25, 2001. Son of Josephine and the late Antonio. Father of Anthony.
