Construction Delays Reopening of Franklin Square Library
The reopening of the Franklin Square Public Library, originally scheduled for May 7, will be delayed due to construction problems. The library, which is building an extension to its facility, has been closed for construction since April 9 to install a new heading and air conditioning system, do extensive electrical and plumbing work, put up a new ceiling and other renovations. It is expected that this work will require several additional weeks. A new date for reopening will be announced as soon as possible.
